We fight for a just and equitable society through intergenerational, multiethnic dialogue and collective action. We are developing a health campaign and building a community garden as an innovative tool to create an intergenerational, multiethnic community building space and to provide access to fresh, healthy foods in an under-resourced community. Under the supervision of the Executive Director, the Community Organizer will work with SEACA members to planning and implement a community health campaign, including strengthening teenage Youth Organizers and building a multiethnic, multi-generational base, with an emphasis on Southeast Asian members.

The South Riverdale Community Health Centre is a non-profit, multi-service Centre that provides primary health care, social and community outreach services with an emphasis on health promotion to residents of East Toronto. The goal of this program is to provide health education to adults who may be at risk of developing diabetes. This project is funded by Toronto Public Health.
Mission: The Asian American Alliance of San Antonio is an organization formed with the purpose to unite and promote the Asian American community in San Antonio through community engagement and leadership development. As a non-partisan, not for profit organization, its mission is to unite and promote the Asian American community in San Antonio and to help our city be a great place to live, work, and raise families. It was formed after a group of Asian community leaders met in fall to discuss how Asians of different ethnicities can collaborate and communicate better among themselves and be more involved in the community at large.
Our programs empower youth to recognize the signs of relationship violence and take a stand against abuse. Services include: hour hotline, counseling, sexual assault response team, safety planning, emergency and transitional shelter, and community-based education and prevention programs. All services are free of charge and available in 30 Asian and Pacific Islander languages.

Yen Hsieh has chaired the ACA board for the past three years. Under her active leadership, ACA has increased funding 8-fold and has applied consumer research techniques to program development.
OCAPICA was established in with the mission to build a healthier and stronger community by enhancing the well-being of Asians and Pacific Islanders through inclusive partnerships in the areas of service, education, advocacy, organizing, and research. Patient navigation, health education, and access to health care systems and insurance for low to moderate income families. Our programs have been dedicated to enhancing the health, social, and economic well-being of the underserved population in Orange County, CA.
ACA is guided by a Board of Directors, which represents the citizenry who reside in the Cincinnati area from many different Asian countries. ACA has communicated with diverse community groups, engaged leaders within distinct populations, established credibility, and developed shared goals and objectives among the participating Asian neighborhoods, churches, temples, and civic groups. Annual reports outline our efforts to serve the Asian Community.
