The motor racing boss Max Mosley admitted a secret year history of sadomasochism in court yesterday but denied the News of the World's claims that he took part in a Nazi-themed orgy. Mosley was speaking in the Royal Courts of Justice on the opening day of his extraordinary case against the News of the World for invading his privacy. There was rarely a dull moment in a packed court 13 as the year-old began his attempt to sue the newspaper for exemplary damages after it clandestinely filmed him in March this year enjoying what it described as a "sick Nazi orgy". Mosley maintains the gathering was a private "party" for himself and five like-minded, consenting women, and there was no public interest in reporting it.
Ex-F1 mogul Max Mosley is suing Google in a bid to have a series of snaps showing him at a sex party removed from the internet. Citing misuse of private information and contravention of the Data Protection Act Mosley is seeking to toughen up UK online privacy enforcement. Mosley, youngest son of Sir Oswald Mosley, former leader of the British Union of Fascists, successfully argued that the five-hour sadomasochistic sex session with prostitutes in a Chelsea flat had no Nazi overtones and the expose had been an invasion of privacy. It seeks to compel Google to stop gathering and publishing images that the English high court decided in were unlawful in the landmark privacy case Mosley v News Group Newspapers.
