It is estimated that out of the more than three million South Asians living in the UKonly 75are followers of Jesus. SAF equips the UK church in reaching those of other faiths and cultures through facilitating cross-cultural mission training events, developing evangelistic resources, coaching emerging leaders and raising awareness about the work of key mission agencies. SAF also connects and unites those involved in mission to the South Asian disapora and involvement in advocacy work on behalf of South Asian Christians in the UK and overseas.

I just returned from London. Within the first 12 hours in London, I got three racial slurs thrown at me. It happened while I was walking around the Soho area, just outside of Tate Modern and right after I got out of the Victoria tube stop.
The IJA award goes to either an Indian foreign correspondent who has worked out of Britain or a British foreign correspondent who has worked out of India. The UK Indian community has done phenomenally well and each Indian business is a case study in itself. These are the businesses which were started by people who came from India and succeeded in UK inspite of all challenges and hardships. To celebrate the success of such businesses, ICF will be hosting various events in UK and India, with an endeavour to increase business opportunities in the two countries.
Diaspora can play an important role in strengthening trade, educational and cultural relations. In due course, in the face of Brexit, there should be easier and amicable agreement with regard to movement of people. The new association has been created to act in conjunction with existing student bodies, to provide a home away from home for students from India arriving in the UK for their studies and research. The panel of speakers consisted of professional Asian women from diverse fields journalism, law and Public Relations. The President of the Forum, Prabhakar Kaza welcomed the audience largely women from all communities and explained that the main objective of the Forum, was to serve as a watch-dog monitoring the Reports of Indian events by British Media and contest the reports which seemed prejudicial or tendentious. The aim of the Seminar was to improve the aspirational levels of Indian women so that in any field of endeavor they should focus on success and raising the bar.
